Raw Poetic is a Virginia based emcee who first arrived on the scene back in 2004 with his band "Restoring Poetry in Music." He would later branch off to form the hip-hop dup better known as 'Panacea," with K-Murdock on production. The group found success when they signed with Raucous Records and put out the hit record "The Scenic Route"

After a five-year run, the duo would branch off and Raw Poetic found himself back with longtime collaborator Damu the Fudgemunk on the hit single "Hole Up." Damu, who played in both RPM and Panacea, offered a new sound that fit perfectly with Raw Poetics maturing style.

Over several years, Poetic learned how to play multiple instruments and produce for himself as well, as seen on 2022's "Laminated Skies." The duo both wear many hats in their creations.

In the past few years, another longtime collaborator, Patrick Fritz (from RPM and Panacea) joined the mix and helped complete their sound. The trio now preform live sets and continue to make albums together as well. The live show offers a mix of electronic production and live instrumentation, making for an engaging experience for audiences around the world.
